Default PCM aux/usb/ipod input options disappeared

Plugged in my iPhone into my 09S with base radio. Has the iPod/aux/USB ports in the center console. The menu on PCM to select which input was accessible at that time and I selected to show USB which then would not play music for some reason. So I grabbed an aux cord and tried to find the menu to allow AUX as an option on the PCM but cannot for the life of me get that to come up as an input option again on the PCM. Just says FM/AM/CD. Any idea how to get to that menu again? Would like to play Spotify through the aux. If I plug an old iPod Nano into the iPod port, iPod does come up as an option automatically. Aux doesn't however.

Default You may have to enable "AUX" to show up as an option...

I just recently had to do this on 997.2 that I purchased last month. I guess the previous owner never used the Universal Audio inputs.

Since the car is at home, I can't verify the steps again, but I believe that you have to select "DISC" mode on the PCM and then press the "OPTION" button. This should bring you to a screen that allows you to select which inputs you want to show up as available. Just tick the AUX box and then it will be available.

I'm hoping that I'm remembering this correctly and not skipping a step!

^^ This, but I had to have an actual CD/DVD in the drive before it would allow me to select the other UAI options to be visible

Hey buddy,
I got the same weird issue. Worse still, I can not see the AUX checkbox in this option screen, only AUX BT there. Meanwhile, jukebox/iPod/usb were disappeared in media screen as well. Do you have any other idea?

Make sure you put an audio CD in the head unit first, input option selection won’t work otherwise

Actually I had input 3 CDs, but still no AUX in option screen.

This!!! When I added a Sat Radio Board almost a year ago (requiring licensing and PIWIS) I lost the Aux input and purely by experimentation found I needed to insert a CD to "tickle" the PCM back into offering the Aux feature.

The dealer helped to activate AUX, now it works, but USB/iPod/Jukebox still disappear...and the Map/Navi/Phone are still unavailable, very upset.
