Default Looking at this wing.

Anyone used or heard of "DarwinPro wings"? Ive never been a big fan of RS style wings {for their size} but saw this and may consider it as an option. I can always sell it if I'm not 100% happy.

Currently I have the 997.1 OEM GT3 wing installed by the previous owner but not sure if I'm really happy with it. If anyones had any experience with DarwinPro products please LMK.
Thank you.

Subjective item. Either you like wings or you don't and I suspect you'll get responses along those lines. I'm not a wing man so the Darwin wing is too much for me. Reminds me of the GT3 RS wing. If I was forced to put a wing on my car it would have to be something like a turbo wing. Lower and somewhat flows with the body of the car. These tall things look too much like an after thought to me. Disrupts and interrupts the body flow. But that's just one opinion. Pretty sure you'll get some thumbs up too.

Yes it is the RS copy. Ufortunately they dont offer the later style GT3 wing that I prefer for the 997.1. I have the earlier style GT3 wing which is "ok" but prefer a newer style look.

My main concern with these aftermarket spoilers is the actual aero behavior. Specifically the spoiler angle of attack. If I get an additional spoiler for my 911 the purpose will be to increase downforce on track, and at high speed on the autobahn (where the ***-end of the car gets light). So it won't serve my purpose if the results aren't there. Of course, the real deal is like $15k..

Can you post a picture of your car?

Thanks

$950 for a 4.0 RS wing? Run! The pictures are of actual factory 4.0 RS’s, not their wing on the car. Don’t waste your money. You can’t buy a $4k Porsche part for $1k. I can’t imagine the figment issues you would have.
