Congrats! You did an amazing job with the 997, even inspired me to buy wheels. Enjoy the new ride.

Wow I am stunned after admiring your awesome 997 for many years but I get it. I really love 993s and I had an incredible C4S with an Andial 3.8. Unfortunately the collectibility/devaluing/accident risk kept me from driving it so I sold it after 1 year of ownership. I hope you get as much enjoyment out of your new ride as you seemed to from your 997.

Yet.
Start with I think 12 years between the last 993 and the first 997.2. A lot of things change on cars over 12 years no matter what brand and model you pick. The list of differences gets lengthy. Not to say that all the differences are necessarily improvements though (imo).

awesome 993!!! No way to keep both? that would be my ideal situation, but obviously cost or space could be a factor

ATSR... It's been great having you in the 997 club and sharing all the love you had for this amazing generation. I envy you in many ways for taking the 993 leap. Something I have wanted to do many times over the years and still hope to do in the future. So congrats to you and wishing you all the best in Air-Cooled Nirvana! Enjoy in good health!

Thank you very much Chris! I'm going to try as much as possible to not think of the value of the 993 and just enjoy it as much as possible. I'm just extremely grateful that I get to own what is basically a brand new 993!

Thanks! That would be me ideal situation as well, but unfortunately both space and cost are pretty major factors preventing me from doing it.

Thank you very much! I've been wanting a 993 since forever and I honestly thought that my opportunity of owning one in this condition was long gone. I still can't believe that it actually happened!

Well I'll just say this....now I envy both of your cars, past and present! The 997 was just ridiculously awesome, you did a great job with it....and the 993....as they say, the cards speak for themselves. Congrats!

Congrats man. You obviously have a love for older cars with that '77 Civic you have in your signature. Good luck and enjoy.

Congrats! I did the move in reverse (993 --> 997). The 993 was the first car I was ever so hooked on that I literally couldn't stop driving it when I had it out. Enjoy it in good health!!

Enjoy the 993! I've owned a few and they are fun cars.
Keep those Air Passages clear - Looks like a 1995 w/o the rear wind wing?
This is good because clogged air passages in 1995 model won't effect passing emissions as it is OB1. 1996-1998 have the OB11 and won't pass.
All the best!

A,
Was a pleasure doing business with you! Can't wait to see how the 993 turns out.
Also can't wait to get the white car here... def thinking about driving it for a bit. I love the wheels (was just talking with someone about it actually from the forums)
Thanks again!
