If you want to try re-seating the display ribbon cable, the tear down instructions are in the NAV-TV manual, available online. It's about as hard as working on a laptop computer, but not impossible with regular electronics tools.

Fixed itself after sitting for 3 days. Not going to guess why or how, just count my blessings.

I am having the same issue as of Friday my screen for the pcm and the touchscreen buttons do not work unless you press the location where they would be if the screen isn’t inverted. I already rebooted the pcm using info and option buttons but it’s still inverted.

I let mine sit for 2-3 days which is normal for me and it had reset itself.

If it just happened I would give it time.

thanks for the response. I am assuming that you haven’t had the issue return in the last 1.5 years since it first happened to you?

Update - took it to the dealership; they told me it the PCM has to be replaced (this was not a surprise) however Porsche doesn't make the unit anymore so there is nothing to be done. Quick note they still needed the diagnostic fee to tell me this... Anyway Becker is the only option they say they charge 950 to 1050 depending on the PCM version to fix.

Just be patient, the PCCM+ for 9x7 series SHOULD be available in a few months...

That looks awesome - would be a great upgrade compared to the current PCM. Thanks for the reply.

When mine was upside down I priced out Becker at $1000. Then eBay was $300-$500 which was my plan if it didn’t reset itself.

I was having a hard time deciding between spending $600 to put an aftermarket or replace with used PCM.

Next step to pull fuse and/or disconnect battery. Haven’t read about this issue on the forums.

Will update with a fix if it happens otherwise appreciate any assistance.
did you find a solution? This just happened to me

Mine reset on its own after a day or two and I haven't had that issue sent. The PCM does randomly reboot though.
