So by your logic, I should putt a curly little tail on my car?
BTW, can anyone post a full on straight side profile pic?
I just looked through, and at least on my phone, I did not see one.
I am just curious.
Here is what I mean:
no duck

You can't go wrong either way but the no duck looks clean and smooth.

I am really starting to lean towards the ducktail thanks to this thread. Any recommendations on which ones fit the best or will they all require a reasonable amount of prep-work to get good fitment?
Getty Design has two different styles to choose from that are both nice. Getty recommended to me that I pay their fee for them to do some of the pre work then I had to have the body shop finish up the prep work. I am definitely pleased with the outcome however remember you are going from what your deck lid feels like to some other light weight material. There is a definite difference in feel that I surly miss in my original deck lid.
Good luck with your decision there are definitely other brands to choose from out there. Mike & Mark from Getty sure seem to know what they are talking about.
I still hold to my previous comment. I don't think the ducktail is wrong on this car. I like my car as is but I also like how the ducktail looks. Its definitely not a mistake.
BTW, I saw one at the Petersen during the Porsche Experience or whatever the museum show was. I liked how the sport classic looked.

(side note: I would be super into that rear bumper and the front bumper)
Now this is by far the nicest I've seen. Reason being that from the rear, it almost looks absent. Cause my problem with the ducktail look is straight rear. Sideways is looks nice or 3/4 front. But from straight rear, it looks like your wake board didn't fit back there so you forced your trunk closed... But this stripping method almost eliminates that look.
