I own multiple CTEK's on vehicles from UTV to 997.2, and occasionally it will blip and go red.
I unplug and restart. The real test is if the car starts?
Sometimes it does take more than 1hr or so to move past first/second led, depending on which CTEK you have.

I found the CTEK comfort cigarette plug adapter can slowly pop out over 12-36 hours due to the weak tension on the side arms, if thats what you were using.

Replacing it with a beefier third party generic plug solved my loose connection issue completely.

I use Battery Tender brand, mounted to garage ceiling directly above driver-side windshield and plugged in to garage door opener outlet. Have a cable attached to battery with plug-in terminating under the cowell where the driver side windshield wiper nut is. suspended a hook from ceiling so I can coil up the charging cord and hang it up out of the way. Just like Bruce in Philly - just a few seconds to connect without opening any doors, frunk lid, or the like.
