Sorry I have to put a twist on this. I would vote white wheels if you paint your black wheels white, cause I far prefer that wheel model. But you'll need a good clear coat for ease of maintenance.

But if it's one or the other, I would go with the black wheels.

And definitely no stripes.

Stripes must go imo. Also not a fan of black wheels. Not necessarily for the color no matter what the color of the car but a wheel no matter what brand or design loses a lot of its character painted all black. Much of the design features seem lost into a black hole imo.

Keep stripes, paint black wheels baby blue.

EDIT: Same hue as the lightest stripe but a few shades lighter so the blue in the wheels doesn't overpower the stripes.

I'd lose the side stripes, they're too much. And how about weiss gold rims instead?

Here's another twist, your black wheels painted candy apple red.

No stripes, wheels in Satin Aurum (the new goldish bronzy color).

The black rims are in a latter pic.
Obviously keep the stripes, I have them and they really make the car distinctive and different. I have black wheels, not in the avatar, but I think they look great.
White rims look dorky. In my humble opinion. Bill

agree. My brother just got a new 2019 GTS in a Agate grey and it has the black centerlock OE wheels. This is about the ONLY case for me where black wheels are the choice. Gunmetal looks to similar to the car and silver doesn't have the same aggressive look. He also has a Cheyanne Turbo S that is white, came with black wheels with the polished lip, doesnt look to bad, but in general, not a fan of black wheels

remove lower stripes. white/silver wheels look great on white cars.

Agree completely. Grey and just about any variation of gunmetal just blends together.
