It was a great day out there! The red 911 with the flairs is a friend of mine.
The RSR were obviously the best car out there. Even when safety car came out and reformed the group, the steadily regained their margin, never really being challenged by the corvettes or ford GTs. The BMWs were not on the same level, far back from the leaders.
Btw, the RSRs were by FAR the loudest out there. It was great.
Cool. Thanks for the rear pic. So it's not an RT12 or turbocharged (no intercooler inlets on the sides or tops of the rear fenders). Wonder if it's another supercharged R-Kompressor like mine or if it just has RUF bumpers on it.
Porsche corral. I went this yr in w/ the BMW corral. Last pic was mine. Security debated if I could take the bikes on top during the parade laps. In the end I had to ditch the bikes to go out on the track.
