I've got a 997.2 Aerokit Wing in Black that I might sell if I can find a direct replacement easily. How much Suncoast selling it for?

They don’t list it anymore but I’ve seen listings online from dealers with a P/N search.

997.1 and 997.2 deck lids are NOT interchangeable due to the air intake location. A .1 has to have a .1 deck lid, and vice versa.

Well, "interchangable" is a vague word. Perhaps they aren't always "plug and play" but some require slight modifications while others are more intensive. But good to let people know that you can't buy a wing from the other car and slap it on without some research and fore thought

This is the GT3TEK TK Style wing and the Aero 1 Front Lip. The front lip went on and took to painting just fine, the rear wing required quite a bit of work by my Indie to fit up correctly. All in all I'm happy with the results even though it isn't Techart quality.

Looks like either a 5-lug version of the 997.2 GT3 wheel or a replica of that wheel.

Have you seen this? https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1131450

This tail was made by a company in Florida called either Fiberwerx or Firberworx. I believe they no longer sell parts, they only do custom body work. I believe there were only a dozen or so of these ever made. It's sort of a cross between a 992 aero kit tail and a 993 turbo.

I might just convert this thread into one with details of the various wing setups for the 997. Thanks for the contributions so far everyone!

Factory Aerokit Cup

You will be happy that you spent the coin for the factory part.

I picked up a GT3 replica wing from NR Auto.
Quality is what can be expected from an aftermarket fiberglass wing, so it will need some elbow grease to get it all smoothed out (especially the too of the blade).
But the fitment is pretty good if that helps. No mods necessary on the deck lid, except you need to limit the hinge travel, otherwise the blade will hit the top of the 3rd brake light cover below the rear window (when you open the deck lid).

Your biggest challange will be paint matching. Especially if you have a metallic paint. I went through 8 paint iterations before getting the paint to match. Germany and US have different paint standards so the paint code will not be an exact match to the car when painted in North America.

Thanks for the compliments.

They are OZ formula HLT wheels.

Went to cars and coffee last week. I’m between a sick GT4 and my brothers brand. New 2019 991.2 GTS. There was a 991.1 turbo S next to me but he left. Ironically, I didn’t feel like my car was vastly outclassed even amongst these much more capable

Note- for whatever reason these pics look blurry, but if you tap them the quality appears to be much better.

Cool. This is the wing I have. I fitted it myself and then had someone paint it and then I installed it. I noticed that you don’t have the small wicker bill (aka Gurney Flap) installed, did yours not come with one or just didn’t install it? I’m in the process of painting mine and then will install.

I also notice that you have the small rear bumper side skirt installed as well. Looks great!! This is my next (and last major exterior mod). Any shots of the entire car at different angles? I’d like to see how it all looks together. Thanks!!
