thx guys. my kit arrived today.

@Joe - thanks!

@wayne - how did you fasten the screens? Zip tie or did you screw in from the rear?

@yves - awesome. love to see them. take as spin through the 997 buyers guide and let me know any you want to include there. I have a list of DIY guides and included some of your prior projects.

@Hatzenbach and @driggity thats an interesting observation. I would like to test that too. Have you seen this type of variance on the oil pressure gauge too?

Small black zip ties. They hide nicely.

Well when I measure oil temp via the CAN bus the. The measurement is all digital. So my theory is that the analog oil temp gauge isn’t that accurate.

Well, in my car the oil pressure gauge just has a few lines but no explanation what these lines are supposed to mean (PSI?, Bar?)

Mine is about the same as yours. I monitor water, engine, and PDK temps via my Cobb Accessport so I see the actual temps.

And it begins. Everything is very fast to remove on the bumper but i'm jammed on the t25 behind the side marker. I only have torx sockets and those are too big to fit in the slot. I need to pickup a torx driver. Bleh.

need a t25 driver to fit in this slot

Got it. Just used a flathead. No torque on it so easily came out. Will be a bear to snake that back in on install.

Everything else dead simple except for the cable disconnect for the headlight. The clip is a pain.

90% done. Making those damn grill guards took 2x longer than installing the radiator. I paid $6 at Home Depot for the same gutter mesh Rennline charges $300 for. I would gladly pay $294 more next time to save the hassle. Anyway, it looks amazing so it was worth it.

I got hung up re-installing the t25 behind the sidemarker. Its really tricky to manipulate the screw between the slot without dropping it into the fender. Is very un-porsche. I need to tackle in the morning.
