That could work both ways. Luck out and find someone who likes what you've added or modded and you may get a premium over stock. I had my GTS on the market recently and some very expensive high end mods mostly worked against me.

That's my thought too. Mid to high 40's depending on condition. Best offer I got on my GTS referenced to above was $63K. That's with 17,000 less miles than the car the OP is looking at and has about $20,000 worth of upgrades. Car is near flawless.

Also new owner of 2011 C4S Cab bought CPO dealer in Fla. with 31k..... paid $60k plus tax

i was taught as rule of thumb that mileage is worth approx 0.20-0.25 cents a mile in depreciation/appreciation for calculating prices.
Your car has approx 40000 MORE miles which means $8-$10k off my $60k .....AND I have a CPO warranty for next 2+ years which costs a few more thousand dollars.
My sticker was much higher too at $136k !!.... COMPLETE full leather interior ( sun visors, etc etc ) w full contrast red stitching on black, F&R built-in radar, full protective film, ....
Car u describe , ( no warranty?) which I'm sure is a beauty , is not worth over $50k IMHO..... less would be even better!!
Good luck in whatever u do!!!!

@Dubgw You got a good deal based on most pricing I've seen lately. You might even consider adding a Fidelity Platinum warranty while the mileage is still low some time before your CPO ends. I think the next rate increase is above 35k miles so it may pay off to do it before you hit that mark.

Good deal! There are very few with full leather, I'd have liked that.im curious about your build sheet to get it to $136k.
Amazing community coming through as well. Targeting mid 40s...

Personally I don’t think $55-57 is atrocious if the car has been taken care of and serviced properly. You did not mention if this was going to be you daily driver or a second or third car to enjoy, champagne on the weekends if you will and where you live. You did mention you are looking for a more authentic experience and although the PDK is a fabulous fabulous transaxle there is nothing more pleasurable than choosing your gears in a sports car, playing the perfect concert when you get it right. Also the all wheel drive provides terrific traction and exceptional handling, especially in inclement weather, but there is just something about the lightness and driving feel of a mid/rear engine sports car. Best of luck with your decision and if it has been said once it is worth saying again and again have an extensive PPI performed. With Porsche ownership come a Porsche tax on all parts and labor a though PPI is like a good accountant, often able to save you some unnecessary expenses. Cheers

Very good advice imo. The cost of Fidelity's policies rise sharply with mileage and are also much less expensive if bought with a current factory warranty. I always bought mine a month or two before the CPO expired unless mileage became an issue.

Well I don't claim a ton of expertise in this, but I'll at least give you a datapoint. The one I bought last month is a 2012 C4S Cab manual with 60k miles, certified with 2 year CPO. Generally seems solid and the maintenance record (and DME) is tip-top. I'm the fifth owner, but the same dealership sold it all five times and it's never been off CPO...which just totally blows my mind, but whatever. Anyway, their asking was $64k and we ended up at $59k. That also included shipping from New England to Missouri, two plane tickets home (the original intent was to drive it back, but technical issues didn't allow) and a set of winter wheels/tires. So maybe that suggests $55k or so without those accoutrements?

I figure I probably paid at least a bit of premium for being the last year of 997.2 C4S, and more than a bit for the manual tranny.
Comparing to $59k, KBB definitely wanted it to be a bunch lower, whereas NADA was pretty much dead on. Of course neither of those considered the accoutrements. Just going on feel here but I think KBB is much more accurate for more mass market cars, and just doesn't have a good bearing on stuff like this.

I'm awfully happy with my transaction. Hope yours goes at least as well.

Good luck!

Congrats aarijk!

I'm in the same boat and thought I'd jump in too if that's ok:

I'm new to the forum and also looking to get in my first 911! Thank you to all of you for amazing contribution and knowledge - it blows me away.

I'm really set on finding a 997.2 C4S - dream color meteor grey with a lighter interior if possible, PDK and as loaded as possible or within reason.

I'm based in Quebec, Canada and have found this one - pretty much perfect options for me but wanted to know if this example has too many Kms so to speak - so long as a PPI or inspection checks out:

113,696 kms (70,647 miles) for $62,900 CAD / $48,000 USD - https://www.dgautoclub.com/vehicles/...-carrera-4s-2/

It has a full service history and maintenance up-to-date, The dealer also installed new pads and rotors in May of this year.

I was looking for an example with under 100KMS but they usually command a potential $10k CAD extra and have fewer options or not the options I'm looking for.

What do you think?

Thank you

Looks very reasonable, I'm sure you could bring it down another 5% with good negotiation.
I didn't mind the miles since I didn't want to pay the huge premiums for garage queens. I would have loved a grey/black (mine is black/black) but I did get all the options I wanted - in particular, PSE and the Sport Design steering wheel. Those two seem to be missing for most of the C4S cars out there.
My 2c...
Good luck with your search!

If it's perfect for you that's the most important thing. The kms are on the higher side but they are generally robust cars and as you've indicated lower km units are priced accordingly. It has full service history which is important. And, yes, a PPI is a must. GL with your decision.

Thanks guys!

@aarijk Those two options are the dream, haven't seen many with the sports design wheel and especially with the PSE, I'd given up on those.

Can you add aftermarket Sports design wheel to this car? I'm sure it's possible, haven't researched yet.

You can add an original Porsche sport design wheel, and there are also a number of third party options available out there. Expect that change to run $1000 - $1500.
Mine actually came that way for both options from factory, and weren't add-ons. Previous owner did do a Fabspeed side muffler replacement which I have some questions about... will kick off another thread on that soon.
