Default A simple gear oil post (I hope)

So I decided it was time to let go the Boxster, and get into a 997..... I was totally impressed except for that dreaded 1st gear issue.so after a week of ownership and reading about it on this forum, I searched for the Mobil PXT but was not able to source it my area ( Ontario Canada) so i went with the Redline 75W90...... WoW, I'm no longer struggling at red lights, its not 100% gone, but about 90% improvement!!

Ps here's my new ride

Nice. Beautiful car. First and easy upgrade are the clear turn signals. Almost defacto for 997 owners.

A lot of people put black chip guards on the rear fenders but yours looks much better as is (IMHO)

Welcome. Love those wheels. Couldn't agree more about the transmission fluid.

Stay strong on the yellow markers. They are making a come back :-)

Welcome to 997 section and owneeship.

Looks like Cocoa interior on Carrara white. If so i have the same. I also did the PTX change two years ago and I even found out that they do this now as std in Sweden for 997 tranny oil change.

Enjoy the car and get out and drive

Mobil PTX-75W-90 $36.50 per liter at Suncoast. I just received my 3 liters.
Suncoast Link

Great looking 997 by the way!
