another +1 for Tire Rack. I order online and have them sent to the installer.

I've had to use their road hazard warranty once on another car and it was an easy process that paid 100% the cost of a new tire.

I have used TR multiple times and they are great on price obviously. If you go to Indiana site mount and balance is free, but most can't obviously.

Costco is cheap with good sales. $60 gets everything put on great waranty service and lifetime nitro. I took bare wheels, my 4 tpms I got from TR and they mounted MP4Ss and charged me winter tire swap price of like $42. I walked in without appt and they called me 2 hours after to pick up.

I tried to throw my indy some work but they wanted over $200 to do it, but they said they don't do alot and takes longer so charge more.

It's nice when places match TR for tire price, but do they charge more for install?

Yes 32-year-old tires. Know they need to be changed. Looking for recommendations.

Thanks,

Wow. I wouldn’t trust 32 year old tires on my son’s tricycle let alone my P-car. I think you should replace them ASAP.

Question on mount and balance from the discount tire stores ? Are they able to spin balance for higher speed rated tires ? I took my 2009 Carrera S up to 127 mph with new Conti Contact Extreme all season tires that were bought from Tire Rack and mounted at a Porsche Dealer . The car was smooth all the way up to that highway speed. My Honda pilot with new tires from Discount Tire has a wheel shimmy at 70 MPH but goes away at higher than 75. I talked to Discount tire they said they can only spin balence up to 65 . ???????
