Don’t you lose some space? How dirty does your frunk get?

The 17 gal. tote fits tight, not much loss of space.

Can you lift it straight out without emptying the tote first?

Don't mean to highjack this post but as an alternative item I bought this "Instacrate" for all my cars at COSTCO about two years ago and if my memory serves me correctly they were less than $8.00 a piece.

The dimensions when open are 21" X 14" X 11.5" (L-W-H), when collapsed it's 3.5 inches high. BTW, the borders come in black, yellow and red. So being the my 997.2 C2 is Guards Red...go figure!

I like the home depot one, does anyone make one with dividers?

For DE use, I used two smaller totes as the big one was a bit heavy when loaded.

Well, dsmn. I've got several of those HD bins at home. I'm going to have to try that out.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Does it fit a C4/C4S frunk, as I understand the AWD cars have smaller frunk? Thanks in advance!!

I gotta say that is brilliant! Awesome hack! Way, way cheaper than the factory frunk liner I have in my C4S and honestly it doesn't look like you lose much space at all.

The C4/C4S/Turbo frunk is smaller due to the AWD system.

Count me in as a Home Depot tote fan. Bought one today with a lid....perfect fit. Just enough room on top of the lid to put a few things if need be. Two thumbs up!
