Big Swole, that was fun to watch the last 15 minutes of your auction. I really thought it was going to crack $90k with those 3 bidders going at it. You managed that auction really well and had tons of great comments!

Thank you!! I really tried to do the best I could, after watching so many other peoples auctions.
I wanted any and all to get as much info as humanly possible on this car.
$90K+ would have been cool, but I'm blessed for it to have gone for the $89K.
I'm happy with it, but just going to miss it for sure.

The best part of it is that you had something to miss. Most of us have never sat in a car like that let alone owned or even driven one. With the way prices have been going along with my advancing age, it looks like the best I can do is to make my 996 the best it can be. I can live with that.

Range 1 over-revs for 997 GT3 are 9000-9200 rpm (600-800 rpm beyond the already high 8400 rpm rev limiter). People see a 997 GT3 with no over revs and lament how it was never "driven properly", then see a 997 Turbo with range 3s (7200-7400 rpm which is 400-600rpm above the 6800 rpm rev limiter) and declare it an abused track rat that will without a doubt self destruct at any moment....
