Yeah what's the deal Dougy? If Biden wins and gets a Demo Senate - Corporate tax rates bang up everyone takes (equity accounts, 401K's) a big hit, Corps start laying off ?? plus COVID spikes, further damage to the economy, etc.
Whether you like Trump or not his win could be good for the stock market for the next few, short of all the bashing he gets. Now the US is one of the more favorable countries to have profits, as oppose to the highest.
These are just thoughts, not leaning one side or the other -everyone has an opinion, so who knows and how it ell affect the 997 market. I did notice that in Panorama thsi month, not as many as in the past 997s were listed.

Ooof. There's a lot to unpack here but instead of doing so maybe we can all agree to get this thread back on topic? There's a place for these kind of discussions on Rennlist, and it's not the BAT Auction Thread...

Good point Alfnado. Sorry for fueling the off-topic fire. This is typically a very fun, low blood pressure thread. Less than an hour to get your bids on on this 997!

And that’s the list!

I realized I estimated a similar 997 at $32k just a month ago. https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...e-997-1-a.html

Didn't mean to add fuel, you are right there is a lot to unpack on both sides.

That being said 997's do seem scarce in the for sale section of Panorama, for whatever reason, and might be lending to the uptick in prices. I know, for one, I am making small mods to my 15 year old base, and just to keep my sanity I take it for a drive almost every day as I am working from home and have no impetus to drop another $40-60k plus mine, on a new one/991 even after having test driven a prime lightly optioned 4k mile example '14 991S -although it would have been a tremendous deal at the time.

Back to BAT.

Groov,
Here’s to a proper recovery! Hope your rehab makes both your knees stronger than ever. Won’t be easy, but will be worth it. And let us know if the cutter worked on the correct knee. Sucks no driving a clutch for a while.
