I've always been cool with changing it to 24 hours...Seems that'd work just as well, But since it's officially 48. It is what it is.

I've missed the 48 deadline about 3-4 times now because I forgot to be on time. I may have missed a win or two. Now I set reminders to get it done. lol

tbh i feel that there is some room for improvement in the the rules / scoring scheme - the late submitter had an advantage over the early submitter because he has seen more up to date bids, ideally the score earned by the winner should be adjusted based on the time of submission - earlier submission will get higher point compared to late submission... but i get it, we probably don't want to make this too complicated...

 

My first guess from 2/29 I forgot to add to the list. It made the cut off. Some of you guys take this pretty seriously...

 

Exactly..Can't be too frustrating or everyone will lose interest.

Nobody is forced to make early guesses. Hence why I usually wait almost right up to the 48 hr. cut off. Sometime I guess early.

It's pretty fun with the way it's been. Might as well just leave it be. Everyone will learn as they go.

After all, it's totally for fun. Nothing but Luck really.

 

Ok, I see what you did. When you made your guess on 2-29 you didn't add it in before posting the "List".
Then a few days later you added it and then posted the list with your name showing up.
That's what through me off.
