Sorta kinda, not really.

I believe the colour name seems somehow related to the marble, from CarrAra Italy. While CarrEra is race in Spanish. I have been mindful to avoid indicating my car is Carrara Carrera ...said no one, ever.

This is a tough one indeed. An 06 "S" with a special package, but also with a Carfax hit, although I suspect that was really nothing significant. I don't see it punching through to 50.

The 996 era is not known for off the wall colors. It seems like 99% of 996s are some flavor of silver/gray or black.

I'm a fan of Silver 911s except the Silver on Grey 996 combo. Especially standard grey interiors on the 996

Anyhow back to the 997s. The 06 C2S is tough one as others stated. The seller could really use some professional photos/presentation.

Arctic Silver to me is the quintessential 911 997. It shows off the fine curves so well unlike the dark colors. I'm a fan of light colors and the Carrara White is SO nice..I also find the Carmon Red Metallic very attractive.

This is a highly optioned garage queen with low miles, all of which the BaT bidders seem to adore. Other than a special case like a Club Coupe I don't see why this shouldn't exceed all of the previous 2006 911 results. That said, once you get above $50k that gets you into 997.2 territory, nice 996tt, etc.or a whole world of alternatives.
