Any Apple computer can block popups. Just use Safari preferences. This particular case was circulating years ago. Never respond to any request to use log on info from a popup or email. Apple parted ways with Flash Player years ago because because it was a memory hog and very easy to hack. Even easier than Windows.

The nuisance program is called Mac Cleanup Pro. Fortunately it's well known if you search for more details, and there's guidance on YouTube for steps to get it off your machine. That's what I did.

Not for me. This was strictly triggered by this site under Safari and I have no Extensions in Safari and no Babylon app at all. It has since stopped, without any action on my side.

Agree - I stopped getting the spam ware too - no action on my part. Safari on MacBook Air. IB must have fixed something.
