Default QSC exhaust tips installed

I Bought a set of the QSC tips off amazon for my 997.1 C2 and got them in today, they fit perfect and very easy to install and took maybe 30min tops to take the old ones off and put these on. Only thing is they are not flush like stock tips would be but i happen to like that they stick out a little past the bumper, maybe 1/2-3/4 inch at most. Im very satisfied with the look and fit and finish. Im sure this has already been covered on here but just in case it hasent just a little review for a great product.

they look great. I installed mine awhile back also. It's a little bigger than OEM & fills up the gap nicely.

Yup, I installed the same ones a couple weeks ago.
But be warned if you have a fabspeed x-pipe then get ready to do some serious dremelling of the inside of the tips to get them to fit.
I must have went through 20 cutting wheels! lol.
None of it is visible once installed.
But no regrets. Great tips and best bang for your buck at only $268

Those look great and I too actually like the tips to protrude past the bumper line a little. Might also help to reduce exhaust junk on the rear bumper. The design is very similar to a Fabspeed style, which is one of the best looking dual tips out there.

Default ECS Tuning tips

I just bought similar tips from ECS Tuning and they don't have the problem where they stick out. They have enough adjustment where if you want then to they can, or the can sit in side the bumper or flush. Love the look!

the ECS tips look good! I've been wanting to upgrade my base 997.2 tips but have been reluctant to shell out for the fabspeed tips. Think I'll go with these as an alternative!

Would these ECS ones fit a 997.2 GTS? Anyone know?

Do you have a part number for these, as I am curious to check them out and they are not on the ECS website. They only have single tips from what I can see.

No. The mufflers on a GTS or any 997 with the factory sport exhaust are connected to the tips with two pipes. These QSC tips only connect at one point so they will not work.

I just bought these for my Carrera base 997.1 lost one of the OEM tips one night driving home. Came with 3 sleeves that seem to be useless. If I push them as far back as possible on the pipe I still dont have enough adjustment to tighten them into place. Any advice since i think you also had the base tip and replaced them with these? Thanks in advance.

These the ones you got? They look great, and i'll probably pull the trigger myself, I like that they're 90mm and larger than the OEM 997.1 S tips.

Just weird though bc it says in the description, excludes 4 tip 911S. And i'm assuming your car is an S, per your badging.
