How do you fix a cracked dashboard on a 964
I just bought a 964 with 65K miles. It’s in great shape all except for 2 small cracks just above the tach. Any ideas on how to fix them or at least make them look better?

Really only way is to replace the dash - they make ugly plastic covers which look like crap and also ugly carpet covers
Not cheap

Rob Budd at Classic 9 leather. He did the dash, pod, A-pillars, sun visors, glovebox, and center console in my 928. Note the 997 Sport Seats for some 997 content

Advice in here is ... questionable.
993/964/SC dashes have a plastic shell. You can very easily, and very inexpensively sand those cracks down, use some plastic epoxy to fill them in and then proceed to scuff up the entire dash. Order a high grain hyde on the internet and recover the dash in leather using some 3M 80 adhesive spray. Leather stretches really nicely, and it will cover the entire dash without wrinkles. Then just extend that to the upper door and rear window trim pieces. This will cost you all of $200 and an afternoon of work. Those parts are also held in by a few screws - trust me on this one, i've done it and it's easy work.

There is a little outfit called singer vehicle design that could probably upgrade your dash. I hear they specialize in 964s. You may have to do it as a package with some other minor modifications. www.singervehicledesign.com

993/964/911sc dash's are leather - Not a plastic shell that can be scuffed up - At least every 993/964 & 911sc I've owned had a leather dash, and I've owned many
...And suggesting one can remove/recover/re-install dash by themselves with no experience in an afternoon?? Now that is questionable for sure
**My advise would be to have the dash re-covered by a company like this for about $700 after removing it:
