Default Can someone do me a favor?

Post or point me to a pic of a 997.2 fuel door stopper? Mine isn't right from when the previous owner had the fender repainted (because of a large DING)

... egads! I'VE GOT PAINTWORK ON MAH POOORSH!).

The parts diagrams are really unclear.

Thanks in advance.

2009 C2S 127K miles

See here.

I had body work there too..... interesting your cavern is black and mine is the body color. Looks like yours is an insert and mine is the body panel. Maybe its just the lighting.

Peace

Bruce has the picture. I had a older thread about this, linked below. Someone listed the part number, and I was able to find it at a place called autoatlanta.

Darn Bruce, 127,000 miles, love it. Is the car still tight? Where are the wear and weak areas of the car. Fascinating.

Thank you guys. I'll order it up. Parts diagrams make it look like it is more complicated than it is.

Bruce, from the other pics, looks like you might be missing an insert there from when the paint work was done.

Yea, I thought the same thing but I think the models are different. I just checked my parts Katalog diagram and it appears to be the correct insert. Notice on JQ911's filler, the cap strap is terminated in a different place. My parts Katalog diagram shows, apparently... hard to tell.... the insert is narrow on the one side where the strap teminates and wider on the other.

Peace
