Lift decided
Finally opted for a two post ... BendPak Grand Prix 7LCS. Put it up solo. Heavy machinery rigging experience helps. Asymmetric arms rotate under car sweetly. With a 9 foot ceiling I've got 4 feet under the car with a bit more I could go up if essential. Top cross bar holds the ram so posts can be less intrusive. No cables on the floor. Nothing to drive over. Also braced the top bar onto the joists for extra bonus security.
The 4 post option I was looking at, with two bridge jacks, casters, and peripherals would have been almost four times the cost and would not have done what I wanted as well.
The garage is finally nearing completion. Now if only it was twice as big. Or three times. Maybe four 8)

Majorly jealous. Congrats! It looks awesome.

now you just need a reclining chair on wheels so you can comfortably roll under and work underneath

I'm working with them on the slack cable cam return spring ... the expansion spring coils are long enough to push the springs off of their mounting posts (failure to the safety side) and are then near impossible to reinstall. I'm looking at fabricating a plate with a compression spring to work from the opposite side of the pivot but I want their blessing first.
I put in a number of suggestions for the documentation and am told they are about to put out a revised version.
Very happy with the lift and the customer service. Loaded into the F250 in the afternoon. Unloaded it by hand that night. Erected it the next day. Very easy.

That looks great. I have always wanted a lift. I built my last house and I thought I would live there forever so the garage was 52’ deep and 35’ wide with 14’ in height. Then life happened and we had to move. Someday I will have a lift like you have. So jealous.

Love the lift and the garage. Great tool box set up too.
Noticing the stress cracks in the floor though. How thick is the pad under each post, and does the floor have rebar in it?
