Default Cool wheels on the new Porsche

They look familiar and slightly different at the same time. Any guesses ?

the old 911 shape seems even more muted with 992. Lotta panamera look in the side view here. Seems like the beltline got higher. Surely quite capable but it looks a bit bloated even compared to 991.x

Can't say anything about the wheels

The wheel in the OP's picture kind of looks like an HRE design but checked their website and didn't see anything like it. So....could be anything.

Reminds me of APEX style wheels, very popular in the BMW world.

You're right about the BBS CHR but these (the original post on the new 911) look even better IMHO. Less metal in the center.

HRE P40s (shown below) also have some of these elements.

These are knockoff BBS CHR. Which are available for the 997.2 pattern, but not the right widths. The real ones are insanely overweight, too - 28lbs for 19x12.

My bad for not being clear about which wheels. I prefer the new 911 wheels in the original post.

The HRE's pictured above are actually the FF01's which share the same styling but are of FlowForm construction rather than being custom forged like the P40's. Below is picture of the P40SC.

In regards to the wheels seen on the first photo, its likely a wheel that Porsche just built and slapped onto the test mule. More times than not the wheels you see on the test cars do not make it to production. The overall style of the wheel is what we call a "mesh" style. It's very common and I could provide you with options from the various brands we carry that look similar to it.

Those are close - the exact ones are here - 20" will fit 997.

With Nitto Invo rubber

Without

https://www.ebay.com/itm/20-PORSCHE-...4AAOSw~XpZO0Ep

There are similar wheels for Macans, Pana and Cayas but they won't fit 997. Only those 2 above or as marked. (yes I did buy) (no affiliation)

Can you post pics installed. I feel like 20's are too big.

I will once in hand - about 5-7 days until here. Pete said the same - might be a little big on 997.2.
