Sweet. I came up 4 miles short of 59 K after a 75 mile Starbucks run. I thought about lapping the block a few times, but it started raining. Wishing you many more miles and smiles!

Congrats! These cars are made to put miles on! The best way to enjoy them is to use them!

Here's to the next 50k!

Creeping up on 58K miles on the GTS. Got about 110,000 miles now between the three 997's I've owned and still, every drive is a thrill. Never even thought about getting something different as a daily driver. Would be a waste since I know I would grab the Porsche keys everyday anyway. I know a guy in Sweden who has a guards red -07 C2S with 800 miles on it last I heard. Just sits in the garage getting a wax job once every other month or whatever. He seems to look at that car as an investment and every mile he puts on it reduces the value of it. I've told him I don't think it's good for the car to just sit. Bushings and bearings getting no exercise just for starters but he's determined to stay the course. Depriving himself of the joy of driving the car is what's really sad about it though imo. He is a true Porsche enthusiast which makes the whole thing even harder to understand.

^^ Wow ... invest in Amazon, drive the Porsche and he'd be better off in so many ways. I really don't think you get to call yourself a Porsche enthusiast if you've only driven 800 miles (that's two weeks for me and I'm looking for opportunities to drive it more)??

Agree 100% but the guy is on his fourth 911 and knows more about Porsche than I've forgotten and he's just decided that this is the way he's going with his current car. Makes no sense to me either no matter what angle you look at it from.

Now you have to keep her!

Love the wheels.

Pushing 60K here and no complaints.

Looking fwd to triple digits, then a "refresh" via Jake Raby's crew.
