Just wanted to say thank you to everyone on Rennlist. Today is my forth year owning my 05 Carrera S. Such good advice given & a lot of learning moments. I am proud to say that I am a Rennlist member. Here are a few pics of day one.

Thanks,

question was there ever a moment of buyers remorse? What’s been your worst repair bill?

Porscheconvert, they are 19inch Cargraphic racing rims. As far as buyers remorse, never. I lost my dad just over four years ago. He left me his Cadillac Escalade truck however it was not for me. It was very executive. I went to the dealer and only wanted to swap metal for metal. I walked away w/ my 911S and 4K. We were all kids w/ these cars hanging on our walls. Childhood dream came true. No worst repair bills. I guess clutch & flywheel. 1/2 of us have to do this anyway. I’ve had to repair the typical issues battery/starter cable, alternator. Paint climate buttons. Road Scholars advised me not to worry about the IMS when they changed the clutch, they saw no reason when they hooked their computer up to the car even thought its an 05 Carrera S and my engine number falls into the problem list.

Love those little faces. They are happy and excited so much so because you were with your new ride, rather than due to the car being a sweet 911. They grow too fast (ask me how I know!). The car is sweet. Here's to 4 and many more!

Yea they are definitely some happy boys. Miles the driver is into cars 13 now. Brice 10 not as much as Miles. I have enjoyed adding to the car & truly hope to keep it for many years. Miles will enjoy learning how to drive a manual with this car.
