I've got the full FVD sport exhaust on my 997.2 S and it has all kinds of crackles and pops when lifting off the throttle, especially in sport plus. Sounds good... and natural and random. Not artificial like my previous cars. On our last BMW I always laughed because you could induce the EXACT same burble on lift every single time. Once you learned how to trigger that on the BMW you could do the same burble and pop over and over again with ease, it was a 100% ECU driven event.

Oh and the FVD doesn't have too bad of a drone in the 997 application.

I’ve got an FVD exhaust on my 991. It doesn’t produce the gurgles and pops (they were there before), but they are louder. They are also “random” and unique when they occur.
