Anyone have experience with these seats? They look pretty good minus the back with the fake carbon fiber cloth with the zipper lol. But the price is 1/3 of what similar recaros go for.
side bolsters look low for a sport seat. I guess it is personal preference but I prefer much higher. those would be easy to slide I to though, but wouldn't offer any more support than OEM sprt seats
if you want a cheap reclining buckets with higher sides, maybe check out the corbeau rrb. but note that they dont recline forward only back
No bargains in this life....you get what you pay for. IMO !

Ya’ know Tom, I agree with you but there is one very specific exception. If you order OEM Sports Buckets from Porsche when spec’ing a car, they are (or were in 2011) a $4,000 (or so) option. This is about half of what the seats would cost after-market. Porsche and Bargain are two words that never seem to go together, but in this one case they do.

Another exception to the Porsche/bargain not typically being a good description of the brand was the 997 GTS when sold new. I read somewhere that if you added up all the options on that car based on what they would cost if bought separate you almost got the X-51 kit for free.

$4000 plus the cost of a pair of new stock leather seats, which probably about $6-8k direct from Porsche.
Anyway, aftermarket parts price will always be higher individually then what they charge for a whole car. if you built a car from new parts it would probably cost you 10x as much.
