I will let you know. Removed my tips this weekend, which was a royal PITA! Hopefully the SOUL tips will be here when I get back from turkey day. If they fit, I will shout it from the mountain top for all to hear…

Yes, I had been running Tubi cans on my 997.1S when I ordered the Soul cats and headers. After install it was horrific loud... Very trumpety and almost indiscernible from no mufflers at all. I cruised around for 15 minutes and decided to reinstall the OEM mufflers.

Wow, that's disappointing to hear but I guess it saves me a chunk of change! Thanks for the feedback. Do you prefer the Headers/Cats/OEM muffler sound over just the Tubi cans?

Been waiting 7 weeks for valved exhaust! I feel so impatient. MomemtumWorx told me Soul just received the valves that were holding up building it. Can't wait!

We are kicking *** on the builds here and appreciate your patience! We are on a 7-week lead time right now which is keeping the production floor very busy.

Hope you love your SOUL products! Let me know if you have any questions.

Very helpful feedback. Thank you for sharing! It sounds like the Tubi mufflers are really intended as a stand-alone mod to maximize the tone of the restrictive OEM flow.

We have our 997.1 Valved Mufflers on sale through today as well as all of our SOUL items. Best of both worlds!

For what it's worth, your valved exhaust system is done! Moving through QC and getting ready to ship out shortly. Thank you for the patience

They're different. I think the Tubi mufflers are the best sounding exhaust for an otherwise stock 997. My current setup with the soul headers and cats and oem mufflers has a lot more rasp to it, is nice and loud at WOT and mild mannered cruising at low RPMs. It does have a great snarl on cold start. I think I was just surprised how much muffling stock cats do.

For sure, no complaints on the products at all! I am not really interested in a valved system, but I may continue to try other mufflers. I'm wondering if a gundo hack might add just a bit more oomph.

While I wait for exhaust to arrive...i was looking at your sport cats as well. Are those build to order as well or in-stock, and do you ever extend offers or sales to forum members?

Thank you for your interest! Our Sport Catalytic Converters are made to order. We do offer a Rennlist discount. Your SOUL rep can extend it to you or you can shoot us a PM and we'd be happy to take care of you.

@Soul Performance Hello! Just ordered a valved exhaust setup through TKX here in NYC. Very excited but did have a question. I noticed in all the photos I could find of 997's with the valved exhaust, the tips hang much lower. I just eliminated that on my car with new engine mounts... Will that gap still be present once I get the Soul exhaust? Or will ti be tucked properly? I noticed on the muffler bypass the tips seem to sit normally.

Thanks!

Just a reminder for those that aren't aware, SOUL does have a set of tips that will fit our PSE exhaust - I know because I have them on my car. SOUL wasn't sure if they would in fact fit so they sent me a set to try out - perfect fitment!

I have the soul exhaust and new mounts. I will say that there is some adjustability in the tips in how they're clamped on. I'm confident you will find a position you'll be happy with, i was able to do just that.
