Default Gold or Silver?

Been back and forth on wheel color options and I can't decide to go with either Gold or Silver wheels. The car is Atlas Grey and the wheels I'm looking at are a set of BBS E88's. I've searched all over the interwebs and can't seem to find photos of these wheels with the same color car to match. So I guess i'm looking for opinions and or someone who's good enough to possibly photoshop it for visualization. Anyways, what are your thoughts based on color combo and wheel? All suggestions welcome. TIA.

I love gold wheels and think they'll look great on Atlas!

Don't do Gold. Maybe a bronze, but not a gold bronze, more a browner bronze, or go polished so the wheels don't match the car.

Or pick up the forged, polished Champion rs171s I have for sale.

I was thinking the same but I'm still torn between the two...

Thanks Pete for the suggestions. I think my heart is set on the E88's but it leaves me with few color options other that Silver, Gold, or Black unless custom sprayed. With either color silver or gold I'd like to do a polished lip to offset the color balance. Going with silver is probably the safest as the gold will stand out a bit more... Those Champion RS's are a great wheel though!

For visuals here's my car and E88's in silver and gold. Photos of wheels are for references and are not mine.

If it's only between bling-gold, silver, and black, I think I'd lean strongly towards boring old silver. Cutting down the middle with a custom "white gold" like on the RSes could look pretty sweet on Atlas Gray, though.

I don't think gold or silver looks good on Atlas (terrific color too btw). I'd be looking something more subtle and tasteful. The bronze mentioned earlier might go well. Some kind of light grey would go well also.

As an aside, have fun cleaning the E88s

The 1970's called, and they want their gold wheels back.

OEM,s in picture
I have Atlas and picking wheels is difficult. I am all over the place with ideas. Recently went Black with polished rim Fuchs replicas. My winter rims are polished and grey Turbo II's . I think I like them best. My OEM are alloy Sort Design. They are such a pain to clean I am going to sell them.

Silver looks cleaner. My car is black but you get the idea.

I think race cars and air-cooled 911s can get away with the gold centers. Not so much our luxurious 997s. In other words I agree with the advice above.
