They list 1293 on their site. Did you get them to include shipping?

I'm getting the bumper painted in arctic silver and should have it done on Friday - looking forward to getting it mounted over the weekend!

I decided to not even bother painting the lip that came with it. I have a decent incline on my driveway and when I thought about how much I'll be scraping, I just went ahead and ordered the PU GT3 front spoiler from Ebay for $100. I'd rather plasti-dip that all day long than keep paying to have the OEM lip repaired on a regular basis.

Dont paint the lip, mine gets so scratched up and I just keep using plastidip to cover it up, but it is primer silver underneath. I just need to get the ebay one, when it scratches it will be black under so no need to plasti

Anyone done the DIY bumper replacement? Do I need to remove the headlights on a 997.1? I've seen conflicting data. Would rather leave them in situ if possible.

I'm getting it back from the paint shop early next week but unfortunately won't have time to install it until the end of the month...

That's twice as much as I paid for a bumper paint job on my -06 C4S and that included some minor repair too.

I'm geting mine done by a high end shop. They charge about 700. As explained to me, the difference is in how well the prep work, and curing is done to make adhesion and color matching top notch. I'm getting a clear film put on mine, and since it's so sticky, it can lift the paint when in a few years when it needs to be replaced. The film on mine is so old it's checkering... Don't forget to replace that stuff every so often, btw.

Just finishing up my GT3 face and center radiator on my '06 and NO you absolutely do not need to remove the headlights, but I will warn that the retaining sliding clips medial/central to the headlamps can be a bit of a bugger. I didn't use directions (my protocol), but basically remove the three upper screws on bumper between lights, the sliding clips lateral to those screws between headlights, remove 4 screws for fender liners and liners themselves, remove the screws on the bottom of the bumper, and the two screws under the side blinker/markers after you pops them out and the bumper slides right off

Got this done today - I love the look!

Wasn't that tough of a DIY and I was able to clean out the radiators. This finishes a couple weeks of modding for me - super gundo exhaust (PSE port and inlet/outlet pipes), Eibach pro kit, Fuchs reps, and genuine aero bumper with ebay front lip.

I'd like to get a ducktail going at some point, but they are too expensive for what you get, in my opinion.

Thank you! In the end, I paid under $500 for prep and paint, and to my untrained eye I can't tell the difference between the rest of the body and the new bumper. They did a great job.

If anyone is interested in the factory aero front spoiler/lip (primed, unpainted), PM me. It goes for ~$300 before shipping on Suncoast and I'm happy to let it go for less than that picked up in Houston.
