295 vs 305 for 2007 4S

I think this would be the same ratio. The only thing different than stock here would be the 295 vs the 305 width. You'd have to confirm, but I believe the manual would have 295 listed as an option for the winter tire width so you may be ok. I have never done this, but it's not sounding any alarms to me. I run 18" 265's in the winter on my 997.2 4S and have been thinking about going to 19" 295s.

read the tire guide in the owners manual or the gas cap or door jamb . use higher profile 35 (or 40) on front and lower 30 (or 25)on rear. The 235 with 35 is a ratio on height to width, if you go to 305 width the ratio changes , it changes the numbers. So you have to use lower height ratio number for the wider tire. You see 30, 25 tires in wide width, not 185-25, or 235-25, they make 315-25 and 325-25 and 305-30 tires to lower the height down to equal the narrow front tires ratios
