Default Anyone using 5.1 brake fluid ?

DOT 5.1 brake fluid supposed to be compatible with DOT 4 and have higher boiling point and I wonder how come it is not as popular ? Can I safely change to DOT 5.1.?

Im sure there are plenty of folks who use it. Motul 5.1 is a great street fluid to use. No issues. Folks who track or who take pleasure in changing their fluid a couple times a year tend to do RBF600 or SRF for its even better boiling points but those race fluids are more prone to absorbing moisture and require more frequent changes. So, go for Motul 5.1 no problem if looking for a standard duty fluid that performs well.
