x51 C4s
HI all, newbie here.
Thought I would show off my new (to me) C4s and maybe even ask a question or two!
GT Silver, with x51 and PCCB, never been used in the wet, and feels like an excellent example in every way.
I know PCCB isn't supposed to make much difference in street driving, but I beg to differ - the braking performance is breathtaking.
In a normal braking set up, the actual retardation may be very similar, but you have to apply increasing amounts of pressure to maintain the same retardation.
With PCCB, the braking is completely devoid of fade, so you apply pressure and the result is consistent retardation without increasing pressure pedal pressure at all.
This results in high confidence of course.
(not looking to get into a debate, just my experience)
The x51 is awesome, zings to the redline and it's worth keeping the throttle pinned all the way to the limiter.
Handling is usual 997 sublime, and the 4wd doesn't dull the 911 fun, just gives more confidence.

Thanks guys, happy to join the club!
There is some carbon/soot on the underside of my inlet manifold, any idea's what has caused this, and how best I should remove it?
(30k miles)
Any help would be greater appreciated!

Yup, love the PCCBs, so much in fact that I'm retrofitting them onto my Cayenne. Wait until you get them hot and then the bite is unbelievable. Initial bite isn't quite as good when they're wet, so factor in that extra half second if driving in the rain.
+1 on an exhaust leak causing that soot.
