Hey everyone. I wanted to share my most recent video as I thought some of you might enjoy it. Ever wondered what it's like to drive a Porsche 911 on the Autobahn, or in Germany in general where it can really stretch its legs? This POV video I put together will give you a good idea. In a word: amazing! Can't think of a better way to spend a warm Sunday afternoon.

Camera is jerky and the recording angle needs adjusted. Also announcement of speed reached would be nice.

What exhaust are you using? Sounds nice.

 

My son and I are on our way to Italy and Germany for factory tours and then Friday planning to rent a 911 from Porsche to do an Autobahn run....should be fun.

 

Brings back good memories! I was fortunate to live there with a Porsche and do European deliveries. A 1977 911S and a 2006 Carrera S (Cab). The latter was much fun on the autobahn north out of Basel when I hit 182mph. But that fuel gauge really moved down fast! I actually recognize some of those roads.
