Just an update. Never got a response.
Usually they want you to transfer money to a "third party" who will hold the mo way to you inspect the car.
I keep looking for the top good to be true deal. Turns out they are all scams so far. But I do keep some cash aside just in case one turns out to be real

I saw this on CL Los Agneles as well, it did seems too good to be true, especially with the options.

On the other end of the price spectrum. I found the most expensive 997.2 C4S in the country
https://victoria.craigslist.ca/ctd/d...538970401.html
$84K for a 33K Miles C4S. I am led to believe that my 22K miles 997.2 C4S manual is going for a fortune. My daughter is going to College this fall and maybe this is the right time to sell.

Deals do happen. A 997.2 C4S 6MT with 41,000 miles sold here locally for $41,500 on CL last fall. I saw the ad, thought it was a scam, ran the carfax and saw that it was serviced locally, down the street. The owner got a bid of $40k from the dealer and just wanted to make a few bucks more.
Seriously, $40k for a manual C4S 997.2 as a buy bid? That is a $60k car on their lot. Greedy bastards.

Typically, a "good deal" is a "bad deal" when all is said and done.
There is usually a reason that a car is selling at the lower end of the market. Like the old adage that the most expensive Ferrari is a cheap one...
