After hours of research and months of searching, I found my first p-car. Below is a pic from picking her up at the dealership yesterday. 100 miles in and still loving the decision. Biggest realization I've had is the OEM exhaust is plenty loud for city driving.
Thanks. Now I need to join my local PCA chapter and find a place to drive where I won't lose my license. I never realized how slow Philly traffic was until this weekend
Awesome ride! Beautiful color combination. I also love the look of the center lock wheels, but I've heard of many switching hubs to accept lugs, as they are easier to deal with apparently. Anyway, bring it to Hershey coming up next month.

Welcome to the club! I'm also in Philly. The streets are brutal on these cars.
We have a group of local people who will get together for some springtime driving.
Sweet ride! You better tame that beast. Besides the crappy roads in Philly, watch out for lunatic drivers with Jersey plates. Are you in the city or burbs?

Live in the city, but have a garage space to keep it off the streets when not in use. I'm too afraid to drive it at night given the knee deep potholes throughout center city.

I assumed the car was stock given I bought it CPO, but good point. The car passed emissions so at least it has cats. Looks like I need to take some pictures in the morning. From my perspective, it sounds tame until it gets to 5k rpm or so (this is with the top down).

Thanks. Just starting to look into events in the area. The AX event in Hershey looks like a good event to push the car and have some fun.

Wow. Hell of a starter car for a new Porsche owner. Forgot that ceramic breaks came standard on the Turbo S but must be since not mentioned on the options list. Gorgeous car. Given your description of the exhaust note you may have some kind of after market system since stock turbos are pretty quiet throughout the RPM range. Consider ditching the up front orange side markers in favor of clear ones. Cleans things up a bit for about $45. https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/PKCLEAR997.html
