I was a bit skeptical at first, but I have to say that I fell in love it, within a 100 yards of leaving his shop, lol. He has one on his personal 997 as well and convinced me to try it out.

I really like the improved throttle response, especially from a standstill. Of course there are no actual horsepower gains, but the ability to customize and adjust the throttle sensitivity to my liking was totally worth it. Car feels much more alert at lower RPMs. Easier to drive and shift around town. I really like it and thought I would share. YMMV.

Cheers!

Is this in a car without Sport Chrono?

Yes, this just spoofs the signal from the pedal to give a bigger throttle opening for a given movement on the pedal. It feels faster but you can get the same effect for free by pushing the pedal down further.

Some people love them others don't see the point, each to their own :-)

Sport Chrono does more than a throttle pedal bias change...

These do change the driving experience, but Remus is years late to the game on this.... The sprint booster does the same thing and works very well for its intended purpose.

Agreed. To each their own. My car does have Sport Chrono and I always drove around in SPORT mode for better throttle response, but this device does allow a much more dramatic range of adjustability and sensitivity. For me, it made stop and go city driving much more pleasant in a manual transmission car. Sprint Booster does the same.

Sport Chrono here - I usually don't drive in sport mode, the throttle is too finicky for me if I'm commuting. I turn sport mode on if I find myself doing a lot of revmatch downshifting, makes it easier.
