Way to go. Such a sense of satisfaction when the search and research end successfully and you get the car home. No buyer's remorse on this forum

Oh pulling the plug is justified if she tries to deny you a 911!

Congratulations on your purchase. I had looked at this car and if not for Tiptronic I would have bought it - great options, condition, and price!!! Enjoy it!!

Luckily she is a car gal who grew up in England driving stick shifts. Still does. RJ

Congrats! I jsut grought home a 'new' 911 for me and haven't stopped smiling since. This forum has scared me about driving it and possibly putting wear and tear on her, but I say screw that and am making it my DD and am going to enjoy! Hope you do too.

Thanks. Well, I'm glad you didn't buy it. I get that Tip is not for everyone. Really nice car and I was able to get copies of the first owners service records. Serviced religiously at the Porsche dealer in Santa Barbara. RJ

New cab AND you get to drive it down from Santa Barbara? That's the stuff of dreams!

Thanks. Not a daily driver, but it will be driven. Lots of mountains to climb for me where I am in Socal. Lake Arrowhead probably first. RJ

Not exactly. Car was owned and serviced in Santa Barbara. I got it in San Diego but still enjoyed a two hour drive home. RJ
