When I first read the title, I thought the OP meant pulling the plug on the spouse's life support, then went out and bought the 911. Anyone else read it that way?
Congratulations on your purchase. I had looked at this car and if not for Tiptronic I would have bought it - great options, condition, and price!!! Enjoy it!!
Congrats! I jsut grought home a 'new' 911 for me and haven't stopped smiling since. This forum has scared me about driving it and possibly putting wear and tear on her, but I say screw that and am making it my DD and am going to enjoy! Hope you do too.

Thanks. Well, I'm glad you didn't buy it. I get that Tip is not for everyone. Really nice car and I was able to get copies of the first owners service records. Serviced religiously at the Porsche dealer in Santa Barbara. RJ

Thanks. Not a daily driver, but it will be driven. Lots of mountains to climb for me where I am in Socal. Lake Arrowhead probably first. RJ
congrats, not sure where in So. Cal but we have a small group of drivers down here in OC, and regularly head for the hills on the weekends. You are welcome to join...
