I was in the same situation and was almost certain I'd end up with a 997.1 C2S because of the value at current market prices. But a 997.2 popped up that I couldn't refuse so I got that instead.

Not to take anything away from the 997.1 or guys with 997.1s, but after ending up with a 997.2 by chance, I can't believe I even considered the 997.1. The 9A1 and PCM 3.0 alone make it worth while. Then you throw in the revised aesthetics of the car and [most likely] higher resale value, it's a no brainer to hold out for a 997.2 that you want/can afford.

So especially in this case where the 05 seems overpriced, definitely the 2010.

I test drove the 2010 C4S today . Great car. I also found out it is a CPO! Yay. Also has a built in Passport radar detector...cool! The Porsche dealer is asking 54,995. Gar Gurus says thats fair , $2500 over average. The dark grey looks better than I thought. I've always been a black car guy but this looks cool. Really liked the way it felt. I was surprised how good it sounded considering it did not have the sport exhaust option. I would like black rims !

I agree that silver rims look good. The total blackout murder look using all black is overdone and it’s Time needs to end.

Those are the Sport Design rims (came on my wife's car when we bought it). They're made NY BBS and pretty light, but a bitch to keep clean with all those thin spokes. She has GT3 wheels now
