Wheel size
I just got my 2007 Carrera S cab. Currently it has 19 inch wheels. I really want to switch out the wheels to the carrera classic style wheels. I have been looking around ebay to possibly find a deal. Will 20 inch wheels work on my car or will the rub in turns? It seems most of the carrera classic wheel/tires combos I am finding are 20 and not 19.
Thanks
Luke

youre alot better off with 19s that are made to fit the car as is, because the tires are going to have more sidewall and have overall better ride and protect the wheel better. Using 20s is asking for more problems

I have a set of Champion forged RG5 20" wheels coming up for sale very soon. They are being refinished satin black by Wheeltek right now.
They are 997 NB fitment, and I can sell with or without tires.
If interested, let me know. Located in Toronto, more details here...

You have pictured there are Carrera Classic II,
If you are considering factory sizes front; 20 x 8.5 et 51 and rear; 20 x 11 et 70
Fronts will fit very nicely on your narrow body cab, the rears will require a 20 mm spacer.
We have put 20's on 997's in our shop with no ill effects, many others have done the same.

im so confused ...I messaged two guys selling these exact wheels and both said "they won't fit" . I am really serious about getting these wheels just need to know what spacers I would need to provide a tire shop to mount them. Can you link me to the spacers? Strange two guys said they won't work.

As long as the the bolt pattern is 5 x 130, and the center bore is 71.6mm, then they will fit.
Now these wheels do not match the factory 997 wheel offsets, perhaps that is why the sellers are saying they will not fit.
Do a search on here about wheel offsets, I think you will find 8.5 et 51 for the fronts and 11 et 50 (et70 with 20mm spacers) for the rears to be a nice fit.

Where can I get the 20mm Spacers? Will most tire shops be familiar with using spacers. Sorry to be so green. Dealing with wheels and offsets is something I have never done. I really love these wheels just want to make sure I get this right. Anything else I need to consider when making this change?

That eBay add that you linked includes tires, 245-35-20 and 295-30-20, both tires are approximately 1 inch larger in diameter than the factory 997 tires. When we install 20's on the 997, we drop the aspect ratio to match the factory 997 tire diameter, this keeps the speedometer accurate and assures there is no rubbing. You may want to do some research on what tire size guys are using when running 20's on 997's
