This forum has a high ratio of purists that will probably try to talk you out of running 20's on a 997. Click on that link that halo777 posted to 6speedonline, you'll likely get more information there.

how about opinion on these? They are 19 inch. So I could avoid spacers with 20". I am not trying to cut cost...im fully ready to buy the OEM classic ii. But Im seeming to hit a dead end on whether somebody around here knows how to actually pull it off.

I'm pretty sure these will work, and the seller has listed the offset. I do think it wise to use spacers to get you to the factory spec'd offset (or more) for your car. My wheel offsets were 57 front and 67 rear, plus I'm running 7mm front and 15mm rear spacers with the above-mentioned offests. 295/30 x 19 if you're wondering. I don't think I could run 305 with the spacers in.

I am not a huge fan of 20" on the 997, most of the time they look a little to big (most, not all). That being said, I love the way the 911R and 991 GT3 RS look with 21" rear and 20" front. Kind of wonder what a 997 would look like with 19" front and 20" rear.
