Thanks Tom! It was my pleasure to help you. Unfortunately your Porsche Tech was going to be out of the shop for training during my available dates so I ended up doing it at Champion Motorsports in Pompano. It came out as good as yours!
I’m still planning to go to the Revs Institute in Naples in the next few weeks so I’ll ring you to meet up for that coffee
Below you will see one of the pics you sent me of the finish product in your car. I love how it came out.
Thanks!
I look forward to that my friend....and thanks for posting that pic!
I wish I could figure out how to upload some pics to Photobucket so I can post mine but whatever.....it's the sweetest upgrade (and the cheapest) I've ever done to my car. Thanks for inspiring me to do this and thanks for the intro to Manuel....he is an artist!
Tom
Thanks to you both for the inspiration and the contact for Manuel! Currently in the process of specing mine, measured the shift lever today for him ...
My car is in winter storage, but I can't wait to get it.

Have the ****, its beautiful! Quick Question - am I retaining the plastic rings that lock the leather boot in place, or am I discarding them? If I am no longer using them, how do I keep the leather boot nice and tidy under the ****? Should the lock nut be visible, or is the boot covering it?

Thanks,

Here's how mine looks - I discarded the plastic and attached the boot with the zip tie Manuel included. Boot is basically "inside-out" when the zip tie is attached. It fit pretty neatly into the adapter groove.
Finally had the camera out last night and was shooting the car
My finished product after a few other winter interior upgrades:
- Wood **** from Manuel, satin mahogany finish + brushed adapter
- OE Porsche SSK
- Painted the PCM with a rubberized matte black
- New leather shift boot, extension piece, handbrake, and console lid from Classic9
