Vinyl wrap

Vinyl wrap
Has anyone vinyl wrapped their 997 and could you give me any tips. I spent about 300 on some Avery wrap and want to take this on as a project. I want to protect the paint and I also just like the idea of having a different color for a while. I've been practicing with some spare wrap. The only trouble spot I've found is the spoiler with all its curves and openings. Anyone have any tips they could share? I tried with some spare wrap I had but I feel like it's too stretched out around the openings. Any tips?
This was a practice run, made a couple mistakes but I feel the film is stretched too much in the openings.

I can't get a sheet of film on my iPhone straight, but once I master that I'll offer advice.

I am interested in seeing some pics of the backside of the panels, where you've laid the edges of the vinyl. I'd love to see how that turned out, too. I've always wondered how someone terminates the edges of a wrap.

Cool project! I think your first attempt looks great, but it's probably too difficult to see the imperfections from that photo. You'll probably get it even better after removing the spoiler and doing it off the car, as you say. If it's still not good enough, you could always take the spoiler to a local shop and have them do it...

Definitely need patience. It's my first time so each panel is taking me about an hour and a half. What takes forever is the prep. Wash, clay bar, I compound/polished the entire car to get rid of ceramic coat, and spray down with alcohol to get rid of any oils or leftover wax on the edges. I wish I had an entire day to just finish it but I'm just working a couple hours here and there.
