Hey all,
My name is Andrew, I'm 21 years old and I just purchased my first 997 - will be my daily driver up in Boston (where I work and go to school). It's a 2006 C2 (6 speed manual), 28k miles kept in immaculate condition by the last owner who had the car garaged in Arkansas - long way from New York. I was in the market for a 911 for months now and I stumbled upon this gem over at Collector Car Showcase over in Oyster Bay, New York. Amazing collection and the staff are 911 enthusiasts so buying from them was a pleasure. Anyways, the 997 was a dream car for me since middle school, and now it's finally a reality. Looking forward to years of ownership and learning more about my 911 on the forums!![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Attached are some photos, plan on getting better ones this week (including interior). Also attached option list. Only thing I added to the car was an Xpel Ultimate film on the front half of the car, very happy with it.

Thanks guys! I already am hooked. I've driven a fair share of high-end vehicles due to the nature of my business, but nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than a manual 911. All started when I was a little kid, my dad had a 1987 930 turbo that he put 170k+ miles on and I thought it was the coolest car in the world (still up there). Would be awesome to get my hands on a '87-'89 turbo in the near future.

Congrats....I was eating Top Raman at 21 ahaha.
I sold a 911 to a guy who gave it to his son to go to college. 4 months later his son wrapped it around a tree with another student. Nothing was salvageable.
My 21 year old self got into lots of trouble with a 16 valve GTI (1988). Lord knows what evil things I would try in a 300+ 911.
Be safe, make memories.

OP, congrats! I feel your excitement. I'm sure there will be more Porsches in your future. It's addicting and they are great driver's cars.
