Default What Jack to you use?

my turbo is lightly lowered on Ohlins R&T coilovers (LOVE them)

anyhow I've yet to find a lowboy style jack that fits under my car for simple at home jobs (taking wheels off)

do you gents have a jack that you like? any of you on coilovers?

what jack do you use?

thx

Simple way is to cut up some 2x12s and make ramps. Then you can use whatever jack you want. It's what I have to do to get mine on my lift as well.

+1 for ramps. The combination of long overhangs, and lowered ride height, meant none of my jacks worked either, including a BendPak ACH clone.

I also use the 2x12 ramp system. It makes doing oil changes that much faster as well.

Disappointed. I expected at least one "Daniels" post.

I use a shop for my 911 work.
For the TR I went total overkill

I went with an inexpensive 3 ton from HF. My car is lowered too and there is room for a hockey puck and then some.

My car is lowered too. I went to Sears and got a low profile jack for $50 on sale.

Thanks for all of the replies. I think the AC hydraulic looks like it'll out live me. Maybe I'll hand it down with my 996 some day.

We've also only heard great things from our customers and members about the AC Hydraulic. We just got a palate the other week, please let us know if you have questions about any of their models.
