Default Spacer fitment question.

My rear wheels are 19 x 11 and I just put some 305 30 19 tires on. After getting them mounted the wheels are rubbing the liner on either side of the inside side walls. Currently there are no spacers on the car. What size spacer should I use, and will it be necessary to space the front wheels out even though they fit fine and sit flush to car. Any help will be greatly appreciated as it's been almost 2 weeks since I've driven and I'm having withdrawals.

Atrox, I'm pretty sure you want 'hub centric' 7mm or larger spacers

Porsche makes a set, pn 996 361 617 00
http://www.autoatlanta.com/results.p...361%20617%2000

possibly more spacer than you need, but this uses the standard 45mm lug bolt to fasten
the spacer to the hub, then lug nuts to secure the wheel to the spacer

I'm hoping someone will chime in here on which is better, 60+mm lug bolts or lug studs
with the spacer bolted on

The lip faces the wheel. It helps keeping the wheel centered while tightening the bolts. You definitely want to buy ones with the lip.

So here's an update:

I got an alignment to to see if that was part of the problem it helped, but was still rubbing. So I have ordered a set of 15mm spacers.

40mm. I think previous owner put on narrow body wheels.

Post alignment and 15mm spacers. Now all is right in the world no more rubbing.

40mm aren't narrow body 60+ is narrow body. If you get the GT2 fender liner brackets you can eliminate all of that rubbing if they are truly 40ET
