Well because the new one does not fix the problem...same tubing. I had a new one installed failed again, hence the action to replace the tubing (done by a Porsche Dealer BTW).

If i was right,
my tt consumpted less fuel after the change of fuel pump (a tank can run longer distance)

weird?

I didn't realize this went bad on stock 996tt's. Is this a diy job? May try it over the summer.

Yep. It seems Porsche didn't learn from their mistake (or didn't really care) for over 10 years. 928's have exactly the same problem, the hose is just straight instead of U shaped and connects the in-tank pump or filter to the primary pump. Brand new hoses from Porsche have been known to split in as little as 2 years.
