Default Slippery Slope...

Well I bought my second 996tt this year in May with all intent of bringing it to the track (it has theft/vandalism history). Now 6 months later she has done about 5 weekend events and has transformed into a track only car. Figured I would post pics here to document some things as I go.

Specs:
2002 w/ k16 billets
upgraded hoses, billet DV's, injectors
Marksi 3.5" IC's
996 PCCB 6 pot Brakes (now running steel)
JRZ Coilovers and Camber Plates
Tarret Front and Rear Adjustable Drop Links
Upgraded rear sway bar
Kline Exhaust
Made 550whp on 93 prior to me owning the car

As I bought her - came with 19" HRE's, a full sound system and almost all the mods

First track day with her - as I bought her just with stock twists and NT01's

Few months in - purchased 18" Fikse wheels, Sparco Seats and Harnesses - DAS roll bar, Sparco wheel with QD hub and adjusted suspension to aggressive track setup

Recently added Joe Toth Splitter, rennline solid engine mounts and just finished coil packs and plugs and rear crash lining removal

And this weekend I took the final leap and pulled the big items out of the interior - carpet etc.

Next plans are to sell my GT2 rear wing (pwdrhound has dibs) and pick up a large getty type wing and delete the AWD and go to a Guards type LSD as well as pin/ weld the coolant lines

Any chance you're selling the center console?

Have a ssk in it now. Even with the GB going on I figured money is well spent elsewhere.

Glad to see you have gone to a full on front splitter. The 4S front air dam you had on there does not aero balance well with that huge rear wing.

Cool to see your project, appropriately titled!
If Phound doesn't want the rear wing, let me know

slippery slope indeed. where did you source the black rear fender protection ala 930 stylee? I have gone down this road also but not quite as extreme interior wise. :-)

Slippery slope is right! But hey if you are having fun that is all that matters!

Noticed you mentioned your door locks aren't operating. Have you checked the fuses? Have you checked the fuse in the immobilizer itself?
