New 996TT owner

Funny coincidence, I flew to Seattle last weekend as well and bought a 996tt, and then drove it 700+ miles back to Montana! What a great way to enjoy a new car, and in particular a 996tt.
Good luck, I really love the color, I was keen on one in that color that was at Park Place LTd. in Seattle back in March, but didn't move on it in time, the good ones go fast.

I just picked up my new to me 2002 996TT meridian metallic with black interior. I flew up to Seattle on Friday to close the transaction and drove it back to SoCal, covering about 1,280 miles. I have been in the air-cooled pcars the last 16 years and this is my first non-aircooled pcar. Honestly, driving the 996TT is a blast going through the winding roads in Oregon and the straight and flat California Interstate 5 Fwy. It's all stock, with 86,000 miles, 4 owners before me. It passed PPI at Cantrell's and it has maintenance records from new. I will be around the 996 turbo forum now to learn more about these fantastic cars.
And that's not funny, at all.
Edit: sorry, I made The conversion and a new 911 Turbo costs around US$300.000.
But there'S more: a full tank of gas costs me US$100!! Not a cheap toy around here.
Ouch

Congratulations. OC will be a great place to enjoy the car ... esp on the weekends!
I drove a Land Rover up the coast when we moved to PDX from LAX. We enjoyed the scenery but I'll bet you had more fun!
